BYBSB Board of Directors NEEDS you!

We currently have openings on our Board of Directors for the 2018 seasons for the following roles:

Fields Coordinator: Keeps our fields and the surroundings looking good. Making sure the fields being maintained by the coaches. Batter's boxes and pitcher's mounds are being raked, there is lime in the sheds, hand tools are organized and accessible, mowers have gas, etc.

Instructional Coordinators (A and AA): Ideally this individual will have a younger player that may be in the A and/or AA system for a couple of years. The Instructional Coordinator will set the team rosters, coordinate schedules with reps from WB and Berlin, ensure coaches are following practice plans, ensure safety guidelines are being adhered to and ultimately making sure these younger players are having fun!

Fall Ball Coordinator: Will recruit players and coaches for fall ball activity at all levels. Will coordinate with WB and Berlin to determine best options for our players and teams.

We also have a few positions opening up for the 2019 season and are looking for volunteers for a transitional year during the 2018 season:

Player Agent: The Player Agent is a level-headed individual that works closely with reps from WB and Berlin and ensures that all of the coaches are accurately evaluating each player prior to the drafts and is responsible for providing input during the draft so that each league has parity among the teams. The Player Agent is also influential in the tournament team selection processes.

Fundraising: This individual is responsible for producing and delivering our annual sponsorship drive communications. Responsibilities also include coordinating our annual Calendar Raffle.

Snack Shack Coordinator: The SS Coordinator is responsible for making sure the snack shack is properly stocked and for completing the snack shack coverage assignment schedules. This individual will work closely with the Treasurer in terms making sure the correct change is available and on timely bank deposits.

None of these roles are overly time-consuming, but we do need volunteers to fill them.
